Band regrading
The Grading Advisory Committee met after the 2013 National Contest and has made the following grading recommendations:
* City of Invercargill HPB No. 1 - G2 to G1
* Canterbury Caledonian Royal Stewart PB and South Canterbury PB - G3 to G2
* Te Kuiti and Districts PB and the Red Hackle PB - G4a to G3.
* City of Sails PB and Balclutha PB - G4b to G4a
The affected bands have been notified and they, and any other band affected by these recommendations, have until 30 June to make submissions to the Grading Committee.
After 30 June the Grading Committee will decide whether to accept the recommendations of the Advisory Panel.
2013 Mentor Programme
The Mentor Programme for Bands is a new initiative, replacing the Visiting Tutor Programme. See the Education page for an application form, which needs to be completed and lodged with your Centre Secretary by 1 May 2013
2015 NZ Pipe Band Championships
At the AGM of the RNZPBA, held Saturday 2nd March 2013, a submission by Celtic Pipe Band was successful in securing the right to run the 2015 NZ Pipe Band Championships in Nelson. Dates will be 13th and 14th of March 2015. Venues will be focused around Trafalgar Park and the Trafalgar Centre
